Ladies and gentlemen...I found it! Ok, so I decided to hold off on getting the house for another year. I want to be able to pay most of it off and decided to take a year or so to do it. Anyway, I found a great apartment within walking distance to my parents' place (it's a long walk, but a walk nonetheless), so Bryce can spend the night and still get to school on time. The pet fee is only an extra 20 a month, no pet deposit. It's a great apartment. The neighbors are all really nice and the house next door always has huge ass parties during the school year. My apartment is the first 2 windows from right on the top. The thing that made me fall in love with this place is the bathroom. It's amazing. THE BATHROOM HAS STAIRS AND A BIG ASS SHOWER!!!! It's kind of awesome. So now, all I'm doing is trying to scare up some interesting furniture to make it my own.
So far, I haven't told the parents that I'm moving out in a few weeks. I'm not sure how they'll react for the most part. Since my mom rarely reads my blog unless I physically bring her the laptop, I don't really have to worry about it. I told Bryce though...I don't think he has a problem with it. He got a bit quiet, but I told him how close I'll be to the house and he seemed fine with it. I'm worried about the parents' reaction...but what can they really say? I've already paid the first month's rent.
